New to me F350 2006

Just bought a 2006 F350 Dually Crew cab LB Lariat, 6.0, I have been a 7.3 owner prior to this, I am trying to educate myself on the 6.0 so I have a few question is anyone feels like giving me some help.

The F350 has 146k on it mostly hauled a vacation camper back and forth from SC to Florida prior to my ownership. Car fax and Oasis came back great.

I assume it has the stock EGRC, EGRV and oil cooler, I was thinking about purchasing the Sinister external OIL/Coolant filtration kit. Should I buy an upgraded EGRC and get rid of the stock one with the bad baffles? I plan on using it medium duty most of the time and as a daily driver to work.

I am a bricklayer full time but I do NOT use the truck to haul for my company, occasionally on weekends or when I am laid off I might load it up with bricks and what not for stair and chimney jobs I live in Boston it will be in the winter weather 3-4 months of the year , maybe spray the undercarriage non-moving parts with POR 15 just or Ziebart?

I would like to buy a small bobcat with a decent trailer hence its why I opted for the dually and suggestions or tips when I eventual start hauling with it.

Also it was suggested to me to forgo the Diesel Ford Premium Gold coolant for Diesel Coolant Made by Caterpillar , Any other suggestions comments calls for concern with regards to the truck?

monitor = gauges or digital pid readers

Get you a monitor on their first thing. That will give you insight on how the motor is doing. And that will give you hints on were to start. I got the Edge and love it. But from what Ive been reading the scanguage is alot cheaper and can very useful.

The scanguage II is the cheaper way to go, no frills, but gets the job done. I have the Edge, does the same thing just more bling. Without a monitor on your truck it kinda like someone taking away your monitor for your home computer. The computer will still run and do its thing but you cant see what its doing and cant see the NORTON screaming that its being attacked! So you just let it go until everything go's boom and now your out big bucks to fix it
