Boost gauge...intake manifold or spider?
Got some gauges with a 60psi boost gauge...the directions say to drill and tap the intake manifold, but... Gauge Installations at DieselManor- 1999-2003 7.3L Powerstroke tells me to install the sensor into the spider. Suggestions? Pros? Cons? I've searched never really found a definitive answer, can someone give me one?? Early 99 7.3 fyi Thanks to you all

The intake spider is the intake manifold that they mean. Just be sure to put it on the cold side (after the inner cooler). Putting it in the hot side will only see about 12lbs of boost.
I learned from my own dumb *** mistake lol. Sent from my iPhone using AutoGuide.com App |
