EOP light
Today my oil light came on after start up and truck was at temp. Then went off under load. It didn't come back till after I left in it 2 hrs. later and it was at temp again. The light only comes on at a stop. 1200 miles on oil change and a Motor Craft filter. Oil checks out good. Been reading and they say the pump are known to go out as is the oil pressure sensor. What gives? No CEL or warnings. Seems to run fine even at a stop. I cleaned out the EOP since there was oil in the connection and the light still comes off and on. It only seems to come on at dead idle. The second I give it gas.....the light goes off and it doesn't do it all the time.
