How hard is it to replace rear wheel studs on 2003 Excursion

I have a 2003 Excursion 4x4 and an aftermarket wheel came off and broke off lugs. I have a thread in wheels and tires about the wheel shop getting wrong backspace and using 1/2 inch spacer which I believe was the reason this happened. They will get me new rims but we are still fighting over the labor. Does a price of $465 seem fair to replace 14 studs? Most on the rear but some on the front because they were cross threaded. First they charged $112 for studs and over 4 hours of labor plus rear seals and bearings. It looked like quite a process to get them out. Wheel shop says that they could have been punched out without removing whole hub assembly. What is the process and how much labor would be involved on this vehicle?
