03 - 6.0 head studs install question

while im waiting on my ARP stud to get here im preping for them. I pulled engine and disasembled down to the block, Truck has 207k on it, started having issues that lead up to me chaseing a noise that sounded like an exhaust leak. not having found anything wrong im thinking it was maybe the y-pipe to turbo jiont. Is there any type of gasket for this jiont or maybe some paste type stuff. Anyhow my main question is, after i have cleaned the heads and block lightly hand sanding with penatrating oil should i maybe run over areas with some sandpaper on a 3" disc / drill to score them lightly to give the new gaskets something to bite to. This truck has never run hot or blown any gaskets. If i had the money I would send it out to have it shaved but really dont think there are any warp issues. Im useing Victor Riens gaskets with copper gasket spray. It is amazing to see the inside of this engine after 200 + k miles on it and there is basically no ware. Still see cross hatching on all cylinders. Any advise would be welcomed
