Pro Comp LifeShield.....WOW!!!
Well, well, well.....check this out ladies and gentlemen
Pro Comp USA - Lift Shield "Pro Comp Suspension Systems are highly engineered and must pass rigorous quality, performance and endurance testing. The final product is what separates Pro Comp from other brands and we stand behind it. The Lift Shield™ Warranty goes beyond the product warranty and covers the vehicles powertrain components for 5 years/60,000 miles. Lift Shield™ protects you against the high cost of powertrain repairs in the event the vehicle manufacturer denies warranty coverage. Best of all, it is included FREE with your purchase of qualifying kits!" |

Wow figured more people would find this pretty damn cool.....oh well different strokes for different folks

so what is the fine print. i assume they are warrantying those components only against damage caused by the parts you bought from pro-comp or.....

From what I understood, warranty is through 4WheelParts and if anything is damaged or broken because of something their kit did, free replacement no questions asked

can't say i have heard of a lift causing any problems with engines or transmissions. now oversize tires might stress the tranny or rearend but i bet thats not covered. sounds kind of gimmicky. unless i'm missing something

ya kind of an empty promise IMHO
|
|

|
well hey if the use of our airfilter ever damages your tailgate we'll repair at no charge, HaHa mighty useful alright.in fact those kind of empty warranties turn me off. IMHO they are meant to fool suckers. and even though i own a 6.0 I consider myself neither a fool or sucker. if you have a good product there should be no need to engage in that sort of deceptive practices

Well sent them an email to see what the "fine print" is.....let's see if we hear anything back
