Best Powerstroke for fuel economy and reliability???

Hey Guys,
Looking at getting my first powerstroke and I am curious which models you all think are best for fuel economy and reliability... I should mention I am only shopping 7.3L's and am considering 95-03's. I am planning on using the truck for a landscaping business, camping, and rocky mountain driving.

Heard something about 99's having a smaller injector/pump that gave them a little better mileage?

1997 2wd f-250 reg cab long box lowered on 30" tires with a tonneu cover, fiberglass rear bumper. Stick shift with 3.54 rear gears

That would be as good as it gets for fuel economy. Would feel quite powerful too.
