Emerald Towing -passing word

A buddy in south Florida had a really bad run in. He has no affiliation to the .org but this wad a messed up deal and Id like to not see them get away w it unscathed.

as most of you know i wrecked my mark the 1st week of june. i was taken to the hospital although i didnt need to got a invoice from the police with my stereo and sneakers , brand new jordans, misc tools etc. the wreck happened at 3:45 pm by the time i got ready to have my godfather get the car they wanted 130 for the tow and another 130 storage and if i wasnt there by 5pm it would be another 130! anyways he gets the car and when i get there my stuff is gone including my handicapped mirror hanger, all my tools all of it. so i call them and they say it was there when it left, ask the guy who towed it. i told them its my godfather iveknown40yearshedidnt takemy sh@ti want my stuff well they basically said screw you and hung up. wellllllllll i filed against them in small claims any ways date to be coming,but herestheclincher.i kept 2 checks insidethelincoln book in the glovecompartment and this month they both were cashed as 'cash' at the check cashing store. there is an investigation ongoing as you still have to show id to cash anyways, they're trying to find a link from the person who cashed checks both for $150 to anyone at emerald. total douches. if only i could walk again for1 hourwhat id do to that driver.so if your in south florida, dont call them, if your in an accident and they come call someone else.

Unfortunately that is common in larger cities. My wife's Mustang was hit and totaled in downtown Atlanta back in '93 and the yard it was towed to had a reputation for things walking off. I hope the check deal hangs them, too bad it will only get the casher and not everyone involved.
