OBTII not reading my 95 powerstroke
I plugged the OBTII into my 95 powerstroke and this message popped up, "no freeze-frame or MMs available stored in vehicles computer." When I tried clearing memory it was unable to. I don't understand??

That's because OBD II didn't come out until the 1996 model year.

|
Also the gvwr of 250-350's was high enough to make them exempt from the OBDII standard. OBDII will only read a few basic things on any 7.3, I'm not sure about the 6.0's.

It will read everything that the ECM will read on a 6.0l.

|
Well then what do I use? I have an OBTII port

the port is the same, however the info is different than standard OBDII. You need something like AutoEnginuity or similar

Anywhere I can go to hook it up? Or anything less than $100?

Not unless you know someone with the correct tools. Most parts stores can't read our codes. If you only want to read codes, get a old programer off ebay, something like the predator will read most of our codes.
