how do I get front driver leaf spring off excursion?

Removing a 4" lift kit off of an 03 Excursion 4x4 and cannot get the front bolt out of the spring. The bolt hits up against something by the radiator., Do I have to take bumper off? Do I have to remove the front spring hanger and drop the spring with it and then remove the bolt?

Ok, I took off front bumper and removed a little bracket holding the condenser. It looks like that should do it.
