Thinking of bed lining and have ??'s

Okay so for awhile now I have wanted to paint the bottom grey strip on my truck black, how exactly can I do it? Duplicolor bedliner in a can? Or roll on? Also can I clear coat?

You can get the spray-on bed liner done in a number of colors. Up here getting it sprayed on the lower part of the body panels is very common. It's not a DIY project though if you want it done right. The equipment they use will give you close to 1/8" of protection from rock chips.

There is a thread in the 94 - 94 7.3 General Discussion titled 97 daily driver/tow rig. He did exactly what you want to do with Rhino Lining. Check it out.
