Would there be anything wrong with using my ECM in another truck?
The trucks are the both 99' F350 6spd 7.3 ps. One has many less miles and a bad ECM

unless something in that truck fried the ECM and will likely fry the good one ..... otherwise I think you would be okay as long as the ECM's are the same

idk if ECM's are plug n play on Ford's but i know on VW's we have to adapt the ECM to the instrument cluster and adapt the ignition keys...
