Need Help With Picking Out A New Exhaust System

I am looking to put a new exhaust system on my 2006 Super Duty Crew Cab 4x4 with the 6.0. I am a new first time diesel owner. What is the best exhaust and what is the difference from a cat back or a turbo back exhaust? I pull a 4000 pound trailer loaded on the weekends. I want to get the best mileage possible. Is it possible to take the muffler off my truck and put a straight pipe in the place of the muffler, or would that be to loud? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Mike

I've been very happy with my Grand Rock exhaust. Besides, they're a site sponsor!

1996 F-250 XLT Supercab. Black. Edge Evolution tuner, 4" MBRP exhaust, AFE Stage II Intake, Isspro Gauges. "Ol' Black"

2011 F-350 XLT 4x4 Crew Cab. Ranch Hand Legend Front & Rear Bumpers. Forest Green

333 - I'm only half bad!
