semi drivers

man, i just wanted to say to all the semi drivers out there, i feel sorry for you guys when your haulin those big rigs and some azzhole cuts in front of you. i seen that happen today and so many times before and what stupid people dont realize is, your rigs dont stop on a dime. i tow a 10k pds camper and its hard as hell to stop that thing. i think everyone should have to tow somethin when they take there drivers permit test so they know not to do that sh!t.

People just see the trucks and automatically assume they are going slow. Not the case anymore. I can't count the time I have had to clean my britches out because of someone cutting me off or pulling out in front of me. You can sit there and watch 'em look at you and then just pulll out. All you can do is hit the brakes and hope you slow down in time. After a while, you just get used to it. Drivers just have to deal with it, even though it gets one their nerves.

It's just a crappy part of the job! Dealing with other people - seems to be my biggest downfall

I'm just glad air brakes work as well as they do!

I don't drive a lot, and most of the time avoid it if i can, but I have to catch myself before i let somebody get to me. When you drive a large truck, you have to get rid of any road rage tendencies. Times when you would just pass and flip someone off or tailgate to prove a point in your personal truck, can easily get someone killed in a semi.

I agree! I try not to screw with truckers b/c I HATE having to slow down and speed up just because of people that are inconsiderate while I'm towing my 5er... much less a person towing 80K lbs!!! I feel bad if I ever accidentally make a truck have to slow down...

unless he's f'in with me -- then all my care goes out the window! Some drivers think they OWN the dang road!!!
