wut is a map fooler i see some people runnin this

The Map fooler refers to the Map sensor -- this sensor senses the amout of boost (psi) you are making and if it gets too high, it defuels the engine....

you need to fooler to keep this from happening when you have a tuner on your truck (like that SCT you're getting)

there are several ways to do it -- mechanical or electrical... lemme see if I can find some links for ya

Nope - it can't turn off the MAP sensor -- you have to physically make the sensor not see the boost (by either putting a guage that limits the boost to a set pressure under the defuel pressure, or electrically by using a diode that keeps the sensor reading a max voltage and therefore not seeing the higher voltage resulting from higher boost)
