bad mileage?

i havent checked into what i'm actually getting per gallon, i will soon. but i have noticed for every 1/4 tank i'm only getting 80-90miles, i have the 38 gallon tank. this seems very low compared to when i got the truck. i regularly run the truck on a street tune with my sct and have an exaust and high flow foam filter on the truck currently, with the zoo dad. i havent been dumping smoke that often due to diesel prices, but still that shouldnt be killing my milage that much. i tow a small trailer for work maybe 3000# ??? i'm clueless.

forgot to mention, this poor milage is with city driving, but still i dont usually go over 2000 rpm. highway driving my milage is great.

How many miles are you getting per tank?

i think it would be safe to say 400, city driving, with some towing and an occasional soot cloud on a tailgater.

I am getting 9.4 MPG pulling 5th wheel in mountains of new mexaco and 15 mpg on hy's. this is a 6.4 l diesel with 5k miles on it.
I will be interested what you find, and if I can expect better. Salesman said I should get 19mpg on country byways here in kansas. We all know that salesmen lie when it comes to a new sale.
