torque converter lock-up

is there a way to get the stock torque converter to lock up sooner, my truck feels like it is making more power than what its putting down. it feels as if the tranny is slipping, is this even a torque converter problem or is it something else?

With the SCT tuner you can program your tqc to lock up sooner and change the shift points..

its actually between shifts is when it seems like its slipping, does that sound like the torque converter?

Check your fluid and make sure its full, and clean. Should be a bright shiny red.
