Safe turn off temp?

Now that I got got gauges, I was wondering what is a safe temp to turn the engine off at. Any opinions? My buddy who owns a Dodger says around 350.

Talking Turn off temps ???

I have read that shutting down with an EGT of over 300* F will promote the "coking" of oil in the Turbo. Needless to say the lower the temp you get her to will always be better.........

I don't have the pyro yet, because no one makes pods for he 08's yet, so I let the truck idle for 3 to 4 mintues, under normal driving, before I shut her off, longer if I've been hard in it......is that long enough?

I usually turn off at 400.

Driving somewhat hard then cooling off/slowing down through the neighborhoods, it takes about 30 seconds or less to get to 400 Fahrenheit usually.

I don't know what the "official temp" is, but for mine, I shut mine down at 350 or a little less if she's been run hard.
