great laugh

Ok here is the deal. I had a guy come in today where i work (ntb) and asked us to sell him a set of 37-13.50-20's on his 08 F250 CC 2wd. No lift or level. I told him they wouldnt fit, but he didnt care what i said. He told me that his brother and father have them on there truck and they didnt rub at full lock. So i had him sign a wavor and sold him the 1,800 dollar tires with roadhazzard at 35 dollars a tire, for a total ticket of 1950 dollars. Long story short he paid, we mounted and put them on. Well he tryed to back out and well.... like we told him they woulnt fit. They rubed horribly. lost alot of turning. he was pissed, and wanted a refund. we just showed him the waver he signed and said have a good day.

i cant stand people like this guy. but he did have a nice truck. oh and he was 23 years old. his dad must really love him.

NICE!!! I was SO PARANOID when I went to put on my 285s...had a pretty good idea it would be OK, but to say 37s would fit without a problem on a 2wd too!! Geez!

How hard was your shop laughing when he left?

OMG it was a great laugh. We had 2 tire techs, 2 mechanics, and a sales floor guy and myself. We where all cracking up. Can you believe its harder to mount a 37 then it is a 275-30-19?? lol

I thought the same. but we had hellz mounting the 37's. we didnt have that much trouble mounting a set of 275-30's that where reverse mounts.
