Diesel coolant?

Anyone know of a good coolant to use in our PSDs? Yeah yeah, the Prestone stuff, but there has to be something better?

I've heard good things on Chevron Delo ELC? I never really payed much mind to anything else other than seeing the typical coolant for sale. Looking for something that maybe already has SCAs in it? Doesn't really matter, I can always buy the VC8 from Ford, I have 1 bottle here already.

Anyone run Amsoils ANT?

I'd almost prefer to order on the internet, but if I can find something good hiding in an autoparts store then I'll try it out, otherwise it's Prestone.

Any green coolant with the additive from the dealer for like 9 bucks.

Get that with 4 gallons of purified water from the store and we'll get her done!

I don't mind the regular green juice, I already have a few gallons here already, some of it is already mixed some isn't, but in any case I'm curious if there is anything that isn't super expensive in price for diesel use?

BTW, should I bring AE with me tomorrow?

We'll need to figure out how to do each specific test, which is a good thing since I haven't been able to go that far. I installed it on my computer but I cant access anything because AE needs to be connected.

Ok well here are the plans that were just forumlated.

I use CAT ELC, but then again, I get it at dealer cost.

I can't help with your question, but since you have it...Do you know the Ford stock number for the additive? Our Ford dealership couldn't fix a sandwich (I don't think so anyway) and can never find the information/parts that I need. They even told me they could recalibrate the computer to ANY tires bigger than stock. And don't they have test strips for the amount? I need to check mine since I just bought it not too long ago. I normally use the fleetguard test strips.

But the additive from Ford is actually in a bottle called Diesel Cooling system additive. I believe it's also known as VC8

Anyone else have any options for a good quality diesel coolant concentrate?
