How was your Weekend?

So how was your weekend....Look what I got to play with.

Good news is that everyone involved basically walked away. Two of them were taken to the hospital to get checked out but were home before I was back at the office. Details of the accident are still under investigation but inexperiance was a factor. So after that...I just wanted to say to everyone to be safe out there.

It was a 1 vehicle incident, and 2 of the 3 inside were going through drivers training. The instructor was the one that actually pulled the other two out; both were pinned in and couldn't move to get out. They'll be sore for a few days, but they still have 10 fingers and 10 toes so I"m very pleased...except that's my truck. The truck can be replaced.

Well lets just say that the estimated cost of the accident is under 200k. That's the cost of the truck and some gear inside. The word that I got on the phone was that we had a vehicle tip over...got to the scene and saw tires pointing up. That's not what I was expecting at all. I wish that it was a Unimog, it's called an LMTV built by Stewart & Stevenson out of Texas. I actally hate this vehicle for this exact reason...but hey lowest bidder right.
