Spare Tire Winch
I had to take my spare tire off my '02 F-250 Deisel because a buddy of mine got a flat on his and he didn't have a spare. So I took mine off and raised the chain back up and now I can't get the chain lowered to put my spare back on. The lock that you turn to get the chain down is stripped or something. Any one run into this problem before and any ideas how to fix it???
Thanks, Larry Boring, OR |

tire winch
Here is the problem. If you crank these back up without any weight on it they will tangle and bind up. The best way is to hold it tight with one hand and crank with the other. Again when you crank it back down it will need weight on it. If you havent got it tangled up too bad you might beable to work it out. If not i'm affraid it may be in trouble.

I'm running 38s on my 06 250 and since I can't use it anymore I took mine off and it's just sitting in my work shop collecting dust,I think it should fit yours just let me know if your interested. If you want it I'll see how much shipping is and if you cover shipping and an extra 25 bucks it's yours.
