egt probe through fire wall

where do yall folks run your egt probe through the fire wall , is there a hole or good location ? my truck is an 06' .

If you look under the dash behind the brake on the left side is a piece of sound deading foam that you can pull back and run your wires through there. What I did with my dads 06 was cut a small hole through the foam so it sealed up nice.

Pick one of the rubber gromets on the firewall. Use a utility knife poke a hole through it and run the wire through it up to the gauge. There are about 3 gromets to choose from on the firewall on the driverside of the truck.

There is a rubber plug in the firewall just above the brake pedal. There is a perforated piece of firewall isulation covering it up.

can't make the meet ,i have a baby due soon before that . though i would love to go , i can't go with out them . but thanks for the info everybody .
