What Mods do you have, where is pyro located, what are the temps?????

|
AFE Stage 1 Intake, MBRP 4" Exhaust, Edge Juice Platinum. Those are the olny mods i have and the EGT Probe is in the drivers side manifold, the temps are going up to 1350 almost instantly after WOT on the race and extreme levels it would probobly go higher EGT's but it has the egt defuel set at 1275

You are experiencing issues that are common when you run in these high settings.my truck will do the same with very simular mods.
If you go and change the defuel settings on the edge it will help a little. When you use the 1250 defuel setting it will actually start earlier and slow down the boost, mine is set at 1375. Keep in mind that these higher settings are designed for PLAY over small bursts, not for extended driving. Short of that ,nothing out their yet.BD is working on some turbo stuff but that is still a ways away. I will keep everyone on this site up to date and release results when we are finished. |

another option would be a water/meth set up, but unfortunately i havent seen enough guys do it with 6.0's to say if it is safe or not combustion pressure wise.....

Definetly agree ,water/meth would help ,we are putting it on my truck to test soon ,BUT i got ARP studs.Wouldn't even consider it without ,you'd do the head gaskets for sure.No way that 6.0 would withstand the cylinder pressure created.
