aux. tank and 5er hitch

does anyone know if an aux. fuel tank and a 5er hitch will work together? getting ready to put in a 100 gal. system with a fuel transfer pump. would like to add 5er hitch down the road, but i have never seen the two in the same truck.

as long as the tank sits below the bed rails or not too much above its not a problem brian, my girlfriends dad runs a 140 gallon one with his 5er

I was running a 100 gallon L-tank with a cross-bed box when I was hauling campers...clearance with the box was sometimes tight but it was 5 inches above the rails, you shouldnt have any problems with your tank

tank

I have a 100 gallon l shaped tank that sticks up about 3 inches in a 8 ft bed pull a goose neck i have not had any problems. also seen trucks w/5th wheels with the same tank.
