6.4 Questions?

I am wanting to get better fuel economy! Averaging 12 mpg is not cutting it.
What are the best ways to make this happen?
Everything is stock now motor wise. No programmer.
Any ideas would be great
Thanks

DPF delete is a start. You have a 6" lift? So you probably have 37s? Man it's not going to change much.

Like BigKid said, Lift and wheel/tire size is hurting you bad. A delete would help but you'll get even better results closer to stock height.

What truck and gearing do you have? The F250's and F350's benefit the most, especially with the lower gearing, 3.55, 3.73. Going to the larger trucks and higher gearing lessens the effects of the delete. You'll see an improvement, but not as much as you may want.

Ya I have 37s. I figured that it wouldn't change that much, but I'm hoping that I can get it up to 15-17. Just because diesel is killing me at only 330 miles to each tank.

I'm not sure on the gearing probably 3.73

I'm very tempted to just lower it back down, where could I buy the stock parts?

ya mine does 400 +/- per tank(stomping on it absolutely kills the mileage). 80-90% city driving. Stock tires, stock height, dpf delete.

Buy stock parts at ford, junk yard, or ready lift?

Ya thanks guys, I appreciate it. I've been looking to the Spartan tuner and just getting a 5" exhaust from MBRP. Then a AFE cold air intake. I'm thinking that would get me pretty far.
