Can you just slice the two wires running to it together and bypass it? Thanks

Not sure why anyone would want to bypass it. I read on one of the forums where a guy destroyed his turbo when it ingested parts of his air cleaner. The Check Air Filter light would have alerted him to his plugging off filter well before it failed if he had not left the sensor laying on top of the engine.

LOL, sorry, I misunderstood what you meant. I thought you were thinking of how to permanently bypass.
