Oil Analysis

Well I had an oil analysis done and thought I would post the results so everyone could see them. I was also curious if anyone had an analysis done on other brands so they could be compared. I figured with the high temp of these turbos a high flashpoint would be good. This analysis included 1 quart of Marvel Mystery Oil added with the Delo. The only problem I am noticing with the Delo is foaming.

My wife sent my bottle to Blackstone a couple of days ago so as soon as I get it I'll post the results with my running Rotella. I'm switching to Amsoil on my next change so I'll do another report later on to see how the two compared.

what did they charged for the test?
and have you guys been running the same brand/type oil the last few times?

That's a great idea about the sub forum for analysis's. I've been running the same since my first oil change and I'm at 30K now. You can go to Blackstones web site and request a FREE kit and when you send it in you just include $20.

I have been running the Delo for awhile. As you can see this oil is good for atleast 5500 miles. I am still going to change every 3500 or so but atleast I know it is good. I was also thinking to run Motorcraft a few times and have it tested at the same mileage interval I had the Delo tested. We have all wondered what oil to run and this might help some people to draw their own conclusions. Me personally I like that the oil has alot of additives. Some people might like a higher flashpoint and soome other might like a lower ash content. I think a sub forum would be a good idea.
