Anyone have a guess as to why the Massachusetts Registry shows my SRW 2011 F350 as having a 14,000 GVW? The door sticker is 11,500 GVWR.
Luckily I was able to get away with a non-commercial passenger type inspection (I have passenger plate, not commercial plates). After the inspection, the tech told me the RMV shows 14,000...and sure enough that's what's on the report.
He also said I wasn't "supposed" to have a passenger plate - should be commercial plate. The dealer did a transfer from my F250 9200 GVWR, to the new F350. So I don't know...
Curious as to the discrepancy in the rating....
