05 Towing Mirror's

Hey all,
The electric mirrors on my truck have quit, just wondering if this is a common problem. I can still hear the motor running, maybe the cable came off? Just wondering if there is a common fix for these or if i have to buy some new ones.

No cables-they use a ball and socket to connect the mirror to several small "screws" (for lack of a better term). These screws tend to strip and/or break. The mirror pivots on a central ball and socket-you can remove it by tugging evenly on all sides until it pops off. From there, you can easily see the small plastic (they are white, and split vertically down the middle) "screws" that attach to the perimeter. I have a spare mirror I can pull apart to illustrate if need be.

I understand on how it works, would you happen to know the part number to replace the broken part?
