need suggestion??

help, im looking at a 2000 f350 7.3 cc 4x4, this truck is clean has 110,000 miles and is 17,000.My concern is the fact it has a PTO ford unit in the cab. also and maybe more important on my test drive when turning off the od (auto) the truck seemed to shift down hard? Other than that it seemed to shift fine.im worried about the trans and hours on the motor(pto) have no history on the truck , and have never owened a psd let alone a ford , also is the trans different because of the pto ? Willing to make the jump just need a few opions , sorry for my ignorence help..?

i dont know much about your prob but 110k miles is not that much and thats a pretty good deal i got mine with 100k for 21,000.
