This is what makes me not want to go to events sometimes... So sad that this is the type of press (negative) our hobby gets...PLUS drunk driving? REALLY??

Congrats to all the winners in each class, there were a lot of really good passes and pulls from what I've seen!

Just really aggravating that only a few poor decisions bring so much negativity to a really great sport. Just tough because there are so many really great, responsible enthusiasts who work SO hard to catapult this all forward and get knocked back when people act dumb

Oh it was a trip for sure. Not all had but there was a lot of bad stuff that happened. I'll give a recap when we get back to ks tonight. We are getting fuel and food now. 6 hours left til home.

Yeah I saw those 2 videos last week... looks like the EXACT same thing this year. *sigh*

Thanks darlin' this was the week from hell for sure. Lots of things went wrong but there were lots of good guys there that we were racing against. I posted a few links that give some more information for those that weren't around or hadn't seen.

This is exactly why I hate Scheids. Its dominated by 19-21 year old kids that spent mom and dads money and have no idea WTF they are doing.

It's just tough because Scheids is a fanfreakintastic event and the guys really go through a lot to put it together and give diesel enthusiasts somewhere to go, and then stuff like this keeps happening. I just feel so bad for those who go in and legit pull and race and are really contributing to the sport etc... I wish I could've been there, but want NOTHING to do with the "after events"...
