96 Powerstroke

I have a 96 powerstroke and i have done the 3" down pipe a 4" cat back exhaust a afe intake and an edge programmer. I run with the box on 60 horse most the time what i am wondering is if any one has dyno numbers on what the intake, down pipe and exhaust will add and if they saw much fuel mileage improvment or decresses with similar mods

I don't know about the dyno numbers, but I had exactly the same mods as you on my 1996 and I got 20mpg most of the time! I would put the probe in the exhaust manifold on the drivers side. I always go before the turbo. Use oil and a magnet to catch the metal shavings. Hope that helps.

you have the same mods as my 96... the my truck gets the best milage on 80 hp Im not sure what its rolling on the dyno but its sure alot more fun than the dog of a truck it was in stock form! 100hp is really fun but i have noticed a big drop in milage (mainly because i cant keep my foot out of it )

If its only 250 and it came stock 215 and I am at least at 275 plus down pipe exhaust and intake. Does that stuff not make that much of a difference? Also on the EGT probe did you guys do It into the manifold or into the turbo pipe that runs up?
