Tool help, any way to mount a 1/4" shaft to a bench grinder?
I'm not sure what (if any) category this fits into but as so many of you are good with tools I wanted to ask for a bit of help.
I have a 2" scotchbrite wheel that's on a 1/4" shaft and I'd like to use it on my bench grinder instead of a hand held tool. I've checked out drill chucks, but my spindle threads appear to be M12 and I haven't found a chuck with that yet. I have 6" scotchbrite wheels for the grinder, but they're larger than the 90 some odd holes I want to clean up. |

Go to a machine shop and have them make a new arbor that is M12 on one side and the same size as the wheel stob on the other.
