I know this is an ongoing topic but I changed my sensor last weekend with a replacement from Autozone. The truck is stalling more now than it was before I changed it!!! It's also really hard to start now. It turns over several times before it will fire up. Should I replace it with a Ford replacement part instead of an Autozone part? It's really bad now I can hardly get backed out of the driveway without it dying. Thanks for all advice!!!

Change it out with the International part, I did mine about a year ago and it idles smoother and even picked up a little mpg (not much, maybe 1/4 to 1/2 mpg)

Just to update everyone, I replaced it with a ford sensor and no more problems as of yet!!! Have talked to a few people that have had the same problem from AutoZone sensors. Others have had success from O'rielly! The ford sensor was actually $.99 cheaper than AutoZone too!!!!

What is the International CPS part number?

The International part # I have is 1807339C92, it is for the International Improved Blue CPS for 96.5-03 7.3l. I got mine from puredieselpower.com for 107 + s/h but I'm sure one of our sponser sites can get it too, and probably cheaper

I second the good peformance from the international one I have the blue one on my 94 an it works super no complaints at all starts first time every time Bill

the super International one is great.. igot at the intrnational dealers an paid aout 75 for it if i remeber right.... Bill

I might be wrong but if i remember right the blue one is actually designed for the IH DT466 engine not the T444e

Don't really know, but like I said it smoothed out at idle & slightly improved mpg on my truck
