ULSD STEEL FUEL TANK INTERNAL CORROSION

Hello everyone maybe you have heard of this issue.Yesterday Ford recalled over one million trucks for fuel tank strap failure. Why is it that they haven't adressed the the issue with steel fuel tanks that are rotting from the inside out? I work on this problem everyday not just Ford but every other diesel truck and vehicle that has to use ULSD.I have found a solution that the only way is to convert your truck to either plastic or alluminium tanks. This new blend of diesel has been around for some time now but was introduced in Europe in 1990. All european manufacturors has already dealt with this problem so why has it become such a shock to consumers in the U.S.?
