5" Turbo back?
I purchased what I believed to be a true 5" turbo back exhaust and it came with a 3.5" down pipe.
My question is will a 5" down pipe fit? Why would this manufacture call it a 5" turbo back if it's not? I am new to this site and new to digging into this '05 6.0. Thank you all for your help and comments! |

i have always found it odd that they call it a 5" turbo back when it is really a 3.5"dp to 5" exhaust, mine on the 6.4 is that same way they all are, and i highly doubt you would ever squeeze a 5" dp in there with out literally cutting out the firewall

I have a true 4" straight pipe. The 4" down pipe is huge. When I was installing it i swear it did not fit but after 2 hours screwing with it I got it. The 3.5 fits much better and supposedly u lose low end power with a bigger down pipe
