I would start with changing the fluid- start fresh! add a tranny cooler- Patrick I think has a great buy on one right now! get gauges- 3 pod tranny temp, egt and boost is popular, and then look to a tuner with tow tune- SCTs seem popular or the multi-position chips with tunes... A tugger shift kit would also be nice- firm up the shifts, but some of the tune programs will do that too with programming, rather than springs...
Short trips are not bad, but if you need more power and lower egts after that, add water/meth kit- and drop a couple gallon tank in the back...
