ford making another 7.3 in the near future

a guy i work with said his brother whose a ford diesel tech said that ford might be making another 7.3 in the near future idk how much truth there is to it but just thought id throw this out there to see if anyone else has heard something like this

Don't hold your breath. Even if they did, it would still be a "NEW" diesel with all the EPA crap.

It wont likely last long as a daily driver from the sounds of it, Its meant for the strip more then anything.

If they came out with it again is jump on it if it is a international not a Ford even with epa nothing that can't be removed

What the online version doesnt show is the caption at the end of the article that says "this is a race motor only and will blow up at any given time" paraphrased a little, but you get the point.

Hubby works closely with one of the big shots at Ford (helped him write a recall & a figure out some of Ford's issues these last few years). He said they aren't going to be making one anytime soon. They invested way too much time & money into the 6.7
