DR Performance goes out with a bang

As some have asked here, what's going on, here is the latest. Applied Fuel Technoligies aka Dr. Performance aka Laughlin Investments aka DRP Machine etc is all owned by one person. You know of Dr. Performance. The DRP Machine and coatings plant manufactures parts for the oil and gas industry. As you know oil and gas are high right now, this plant has been getting larger and larger and is a full time operation that requires undesirable attention. This company has grown so big we have to choose top priority, what's best, and most important. While Dr. Performance was a company that makes a good profit, as you could imagine, it's "beans" compared to the oil and gas side. We chose to cut back on company inflation and the diesel stuff was easily the first to go. While some great people have been met and good times have been had, there are other things that helped making the decision easier. Like dealing with the public for one, then dealing with the public rednecks, then dealing with the haters and keyboard racers and wanna be's and people that you meet and know personally and everybody loves everybody and then one day because we decide to make an executive decision close up and didn't tell you we get bashed. I'm talking to Garret shields of Pure Diesel Power. Garret, I'm truly sorry I didn't answer your call and explain everything to you. It'd be one thing if you were one of the large distributers but you weren't. So my deepest most sincere apologies go out to you..............
Anyway, plans for the company, who knows, financial trouble, not an issue, if it opens again and it's retail only to the old cowboys and camper trailer pullers, great. We have been involved in many, many types of business; building 1911 .45 caliper automatic pistols, sold to a very well known name in the gun manufacturing industry, golf course, gas plant, oil and gas component manufacturing, race car trailer building factory, horse trailer conversions, racing dirt and asphalt circle, drag, road racing, and everything, we have never seen such a close knit tight group of bashers and *****es. Out of EVERYTHING, the diesel industry takes the cake for the biggest redneck whining uncivilized people that we have ever dealt with. So again, the decision was easy. Not everyone is like that though, like I said, I've met some great people, I've also met some people I thought were great and will turn on you on the Internet in a heartbeat. Some will take this bad because they'll feel I'm talking directly to them and they realize that's how they are and they're going to get pissed off. Some others that are actually civilized and not **** talkers or bashers will totally agree with what I've said. Take it as you will and take it as how you are. You will show exactly how YOU are with your reply. Which one will YOU be.

Diesel Industry... You've been real.

They were into the plug-in modules that were popular well before custom tuning.
