Hard to turn??

Probably a stupid question...but I hardly ever drive my truck and dont remember it being so hard to turn when Im at a stand still.

I had my gf drive me (drunk) around the other day and she was having a hard time turning the steering wheel when we were at a stand still. I kinda gave her a hard time, cause I didnt think it was so hard. So when I got in the truck the next day, I noticed it was extremely hard to turn unless I gave it gas.

Is that normal or is it a sign my power steering is going out? or something else??

no lift, 305-75-16 tires (I believe, trucks not here right now)...

Turns fine when rolling or if I brake and accelerate at the same time.
