1994 f350 dump, How to fill with fluid

I bought a 1994 F350 with a 12ft Omaha dump with a Muncie pto. The PTO is not currently on the truck, but it came with it. The company I bought the truck came from had removed the pto because they used it as a welder truck. It doesn't have a hydraulic tank, I do not have the owners manual nor can i find any information on it, I assume I can just hook my pressure hose up to the cylinder and put the suction hose in a 5 gallon bucket of hydraulic fluid and run the PTO until the bed is all the way up and then hook the suction hose onto the cylinder. Does anyone know any other way of doing it, or what the proper way to do it is?
