OBS or Superduty???

I know basically its ,"To each his Own ". but I was wondering some pros and cons between an OBS (around a 97 to 98) V's the Superduty (still a 7.3). I really like the OBS body style and I am actually contemplating selling/trading mine for an OBS. Don't get me wrong, I love my truck now but there is just some thing drawing me back towards the OBS. What are your Thoughts? Thanks

Less power, rides worse, POS front axle on the 250, mirrors suck, vents in the wrong place. I prefer driving my SD, but I bought my OBS with other things in mind.

I dont think I could ever let go of my OBS for an SD. I've driven SDs and they're alright. Just not as special as the OBS.
I get compliments all the time with my 97 and I love having something not every other Jones has.
For all the shortcomings the OBS has there is always room for upgrading and modifying.
In the end its all about what fits you the best, for me the OBS fits me like a glove.

I have driven a few SD's, but I LOVE my OBS. Sure, it rides lock a rock truck, doesn't have the power of the newer diesels, and may not look as flashy... But, it's freakin' solid, and has never left me stranded, failed to start, or cost me any money besides fuel... Well, except for all the mods

Thanks for the replys. Right now mine is paid for which makes of nice but I just found a 98 that I am very very liking right now. I would need to try and sell mine first.

uhhmm.... there was no 98, its either 97 or e99.

i agree! more user friendly and if u like the look of the new truck you can do a front end swap
