Re: u-joints and carrier bearings
What kind of mileage should I expect out of my u-joints and carrier bearing? I got 150,000 miles on them an will be leaving in a couple weeks on a trip pulling a trailer. No sign of play in them. Jack one rear wheel up and rock it back and forth, no play.Was thinking of changing them just cause. How hard is it to change a carrier bearing? I got a 12 ton press,torch,etc.Changed a bunch on u-joints but never had to swap a carrier before.
