Headlight swap info.
I have a 2002 F250 SD 7.3L and I am looking to swap out my headlights with a newer style (05-07). Is there any difference between the 05, 06, or 07? Does it matter which year I get? Last of all, is there any difference (performance / brightness) between my current 9007 bulb and the newer 9008/H13 bulb besides the harness connection? A lot of good info. in here regarding headlight swaps...thanks guys. Also, just completed a power mirror swap to an 03' with running lights, turn signals and heaters. The info. from this site was a huge help. Thanks again guys!!!

Brightness wise the H13 might be a lil brighter... all you need is the pigtail conversion from 9007 To H13 which we carry....
i actually have some Take off Chrome 05+ SD headlights in good condition that i took off my excursion when i did the harley headlights... id like 100 bucks+ship and ill throw in a set of the pigtails for free.... want them off the shelf lol -Raul |

05 -07 are all the same . I really didn't notice a difference in light output . Just made the truck look allot better .

Thanks for the info. guys...and thanks for the headlight offer, but I have a connection with Ford for a brand new set. Does the swap really only need the pigtails? Saw a headlight swap post where the guy said a harness should be used to handle the power difference. Is this the case or just his preference?
