need to replace overhead console

Broke a part on my overhead console and ford service said
i needed to replace the whole console cover.. has anyone
done this and what does it entail to replace the cover
on my 2002 powerstroke

Welcome John! I don't personally have a overhead console on mine but I'd be willing to be money it would be an easy replacement - especially just the cover. Can you see if there are any bolts, screws or snap on tabs holding it in place?

I did not see any tabs or such on the cover i
i havent got the part yet.. maybe the new part will
show me how its connected..
