Check Engine Light Goes OFF...
02, 7.3L
The Engine light is almost always on. I had a mechanic check it with his tool and it reported nothing, no issues. I recently discovered that when I down shift into 2nd that the light goes off but when I give it gas (even in 2nd) it comes back on. Also, it sometimes goes off when I just let off the gas. Seems like it must have something to do with the exhaust but I have no idea. Any thoughts? Thanks
