go to a parts store and get a clay bar (kit), and a 6 pack of elbow grease.

use an ice cube to turn the sap into something that you can scrap off with your finger nail. let the ice cube sit on the sap for a few minutes. i dont think the clay bar will do much, and you wouldnt want to get the sap into the clay bar itself.

X2 on the claybAr NOT working. I've had a sap spot on my truck for over a year and I can't get the durn thing off. I've tried everything. Even picking at it w/ my fingernail. All it got me is a bloody finger.
