Transmission Fluid

I know there are a bunch of threads out there about this but I'm just so confused. I have a 4R100 4WD trans and idk what fluid to run in it. I am going to buy the John Wood Valve Body, a new filter, and I want to flush the whole trans system and install new fluid but im not sure which fluid to use. I use AMSOIL in my engine so I was looking for input on which fluid to use. Also any additives that are recomended.

amsoil will break the bank, no thanks here, i'd run any good mercon/dexIII fluid... for example im running the chevron md3, its great.
