I am looking at a 2000 forde350 with the 7.3powerstroke. It has bluish smoke at startup then clears up within 15sec. It smokes again under heavy acceleration and is very sluggish. it has sat up for a while and the more I drove it the better it got although never cleared up. It has 181k on it and i can buy it for 2900.00. Also what kind of mileage should I expect. I am a duramax owner and this is my first 7.3 i have considered. thanks for any insight.

for the price i dont see why not, smoke could be uppipes/other boost leak or something like injector orings... nothing too major if you know how to wrench..
